WYD Book Sale a big success!
The Team is very pleased with the result of last week's Book Sale and wish to thank everyone who helped.
We had approximately 2114 books left over and a second hand book dealer has brought the lot. We made $2101 on the day and since then have made some more. Many thanks!

Parish Support for Child Protection Week
Our Parish is one of more than 1300 parishes and nearly 1700 Catholic schools across Australia displaying white balloons a show of support for the protection of young people during Child Protection Week from September 5-12. Backing this year's White Balloon Day campaign against child sexual assault by advocacy group Bravehearts, Sister Angela Ryan, from the Church's National Committee for Professional Standards, said churches and schools were committed to raising awareness of and fighting against child abuse. |
